@hippiechicky24 I agree. Comparing 2 different bands is like comparing potatoes with orange juice in terms of which is a better motor oil. There is no good or bad music, it is all about taste.
I especially hate wanabe-metalhead faggs who come trash talk other bands. They give bands like Canibal Corpse a bad name. CC is a fine band with masterful musicians, but those who do not know them juddge them by the behaviour of the few retarded fans that come here and act big (they are minority btw)
You gotta check out how much this tune owes to a 1965 recording of ” She’s Mine” by the Liverpool Five. It’s on You Tube and well worth checking out. That tune too seems to owe some credit to Rick Nelson’s version of “Summertime” recorded even earlier.
Deep Purple and other bands from their day are awesome, and there is no comparing them to a band like Cannibal Corpse. But believe me, I have been in the middle of a mosh pit at a Cannibal Corpse concert, and have listened to them a lot. They are an awesome death metal band! Fuck all you haters.

@punk4561 cannible corpse sucks plain and simple slayer is okay but bands like deep purple black sabbath led zeppelin are the pioneers of heavy metal these guys started metal i know your too young too listen to good music but come on cannible corpse realy im mean i usully dont listen to deep purple i listen to bands like iron maiden megadeth black sabbath helloween judas priest stuff like that but i at least apprieciate the bands that started it all

You do not now who you are if you don´t know where you came from. It´s funny that a lot of those thrashmetal, death metal and what-ever-metal musicians are FANS of those “old soft” bands and got a lot of inspirations from them…those here are the roots of this music….and they are often much better than the fruits of the “tree of rock” …don´t get me wrong i listen to cannibal corpse, slayer and amon amarth….but THIS here …. is fucking great music and those musicians lifed the way of rock

@punk4561 Metal wasn’t as heavy as it’s now all out of a sudden. Would you call Black Sabbath brutal? No. Certainly heavy metal. Only after a while came thrash, death, black, and doom sliding along with that. Go and listen to Into the Fire and you’ll get it.
